About The Position

The CFO is responsible for the overall fiscal functions of the company, including its subsidiaries, and related companies. This position oversees internal and external accounting operations and procedures such as compliance, financial controls, forecasts and reports, treasury, tax, audit, and other finance operations. In collaboration with regional General Managers and the executive leadership team, the CFO is to provide strategic leadership, support organizational transformation, maximize financial performance, protect company assets, and allocate capital in alignment with the overall purpose, vision, and strategy.

Requirements

  • Experienced leader and financial executive with appropriate industry experience.
  • Decisive and possesses a 'big picture' perspective and is well versed in accounting functions.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Preferred BA in Accounting/Finance or MBA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years related experience and/or education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the strategy process by forecasting strategic options, managing budgets for growth, analyzing investment opportunities, maximizing financial performance, and providing guidance on the most efficient allocation of resources.
  • Supports decision-making by providing timely and relevant financial models for scenario analysis, risk assessment, and returns on investment.
  • Generate and leverage data and analytics to provide insights, monitor performance, and measure strategic progress.
  • Evaluates growth and investment opportunities within businesses to increase firm value.
  • Determines capital requirements and identifies/assesses deal structures for new initiatives.
  • Performs continuous financial reviews and maintains rolling forecasts that enable leadership to make timely decisions and respond to quickly changing market conditions.
  • Centralizes and standardizes accounting processes and systems, right-sizes accounting structures, and evaluates fee and gross margin enhancements.
  • Proactively manages working capital and cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity.
  • Oversees and is responsible for the overall fiscal functions, relationships, and activities, including compliance and financial reporting, reporting to bonding and insurance companies and banking partners, modeling/forecasting and analysis, financial performance management, audits, tax preparation, and other finance operations.
  • Monitors legal, tax, and policy changes to ensure compliance and protect the financial health of the company.
  • Identify opportunities for advancement in construction technology and innovation.
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of all technology and innovation initiatives.
