About The Position
This position is located in the Administrative Services Division - Financial Management Section in Oklahoma City. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and must be able to legally work within the United States. DEQ does not allow sponsorship for those on an H1-B Visa. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing and directing the agency’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, auditing, and cash management. This role involves managing staff to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and developing efficient accounting systems with strong internal controls. The CFO plays a critical role in financial risk management, ensuring fiscal sustainability, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.
