About The Position
The CFO provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the Department has the proper financial controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems to ensure that the organization operates at top financial and operational efficiency while maximizing all funding sources. The position provides financial alignment with the Department's mission and strategic objectives by developing and implementing fiscal and operational information sharing solutions, budgetary and forecasting models, risk mitigation strategies, external reporting strategies, and business process improvements. The CFO is responsible for the agency-wide budget and independently evaluates the department's financial conditions.
