About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a manufacturing organization is responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. This role demands a visionary leader who can integrate financial management with strategic business planning to optimize organizational performance. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. By developing and implementing strategic profit models and cost management initiatives, the CFO will drive efficiency and enhance shareholder value. Ultimately, this position serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, collaborating across departments to align financial goals with the company’s long-term vision and operational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and financial governance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
  • Experience with advanced financial modeling and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Background in managing financial operations for large-scale manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company or with investor relations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the financial systems to ensure productivity and scalability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and financial processes.
  • Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, and services to determine cost impacts.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures that support evolving business models.
  • Oversee financial modeling and analysis to support long‑term strategic initiatives and business plans.
  • Lead the annual business planning and budgeting process.
  • Oversee external audits; review results and recommend approval of audited financial statements.
  • Prepare the financial section of the annual report.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and maintain long‑term cash projections.
  • Oversee cash management, including banking relationships and treasury functions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and timely completion of all filings.
  • Develop and oversee internal review functions to ensure adherence to financial and operational controls.
  • Manage annual insurance renewals and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Coordinate legal review of contracts and engage external legal counsel as needed.
  • Review financial stability of preferred vendors.
  • Present monthly and year‑to-date financial results with detailed analysis.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics reporting and conduct ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Ensure financial reporting processes support current and future business needs.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages for Group leadership.
  • Lead financial management group reporting for the business.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
  • Establish team goals aligned with Seda Group objectives.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development to support employee growth.
  • Foster strong cross‑departmental collaboration and customer service.
  • Ensure optimal deployment of resources to achieve business goals.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
