About The Position

A fast-growing professional services firm seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead their dynamic team. The person best suited for this role will possess an innovative mindset with a solid track record of scaling companies and ensuring revenue growth while running the overall financial management of the company.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Finance or in a related field.
• 10+ years of financial leadership experience
• 5+ years of senior management experience, within high growth mid-sized companies, preferably in professional services
• Significant operational business experience
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Strong analytical and FP&A skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to deliver in complex situations
• Entrepreneurial, agile, resilient mindset
• Ability to build and structure a financial team through various stages of growth

Nice To Haves

• CPA or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and provide financial and strategic support to the President to support the company’s long-term financial growth
• Drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing and action on risk assessment, contracting excellence, pricing, business ventures, customer profitability and cost control
• Have full P&L, balance sheet, and Working Capital responsibility
• Develop successful relationships with the company’s Partners and senior management team, finance team, external auditors and vendors
• Ensure smooth functioning of the day-to-day operations of the company’s finance function and provide leadership and supervision to the finance team, including internal controls and cash management
• Prepare financial projections/target for annual operating budgets, updating financial forecasts throughout the year
• Find and analyze potential acquisition targets to strengthen the company’s financial position and growth target
• Negotiate management services agreements with existing and new clients
