About The Position

Chief Financial Officer Company: Boeing Operations Inter The Boeing Company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer for our Boeing Joint Venture (JV). This is a Long-Term Assignment in Zhoushan, China for up to 3 years. This role is responsible for the completion of 737 aircraft which will be delivered to airline customers based in China. This role reports to the Boeing Commercial Airline (BCA) 737 Program CFO. The responsibilities of the Joint Venture (JV) CFO include financial management and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost management, cost accounting, cash management, banking, tax planning and compliance, risk management, insurance, and internal controls. This role is also responsible for contracts management including service agreements and JV supplier contracts. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees and mid-level managers from more than one finance business management job family and/or other business function Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a Finance and/or Program Management role
  • 8+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team
  • 5+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • 5+ years supporting manufacturing and/or engineering business partners
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country

  • Experience working with and presenting to senior and executive levels of management
  • Proficiency in Mandarin
