Summary: The Chief Financial Officer oversees Memorial Hospital Miramar's financial planning, budgeting, and ongoing adherence to budget, as well as policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership.

Requirements

• Masters (Required)
• AHCA Background Screening (AHCA) - State of Florida (FL)
• Deep understanding of hospital finance, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Experience as a senior financial executive in a hospital or health system managing financial operations.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Recommends current financial and industry trends for cost effective and efficient solutions.
• Serves as liaison for financial matters between the hospital and executive leadership, management, financial institutions and regulatory agencies.
• Serves as a member of the leadership team and participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short/long-term objectives.
• Directs/manages the hospital's financial, accounting, budgeting, audit/controls/standards/activities and statistical reporting.
