About The Position

Sante is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our team at our Silver Spring, MD location. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides enterprise-wide financial leadership across all affiliated entities. The CFO is responsible for financial strategy, accounting operations, revenue cycle oversight, budgeting and forecasting, risk management, audit and tax compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting to executive leadership and the Board. The CFO ensures financial practices support mission outcomes, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Senior finance leadership experience, ideally in nonprofit or healthcare
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, budgeting, and reimbursement
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred
• Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A
• Oversee accounting operations, revenue cycle, treasury, and cash management
• Ensure GAAP compliance, audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Manage grants and contract financial oversight
• Identify and mitigate financial risk; oversee insurance
• Prepare executive and Board financial reporting
• Optimize financial systems and processes
• Lead and develop the finance team
