About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides financial management information and guidance to the Ministry Board, senior leadership and associates in the Ministry and to pursue orderly growth opportunities, measure performance, identify and control business risks and increase the value of the Ministry. This position may exist for a single facility Ministry or a multi-facility Ministry.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience in a related field required.
• 5-8 years of previous experience in financial leadership of an acute care hospital required.
• Demonstrated experience in providing financial leadership within a health care system.
• Proven ability to manage financial functions necessary for supporting the growth of an acute care hospital.
• Knowledge of operational issues in healthcare.

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred.
• Membership and involvement in Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management information and guidance to the Ministry Board and senior leadership.
• Pursue orderly growth opportunities and measure performance.
• Identify and control business risks to increase the value of the Ministry.
• Manage financial functions including financial and statistical reporting, operations analysis, planning, and forecasting.
• Develop and implement systems addressing costs, quality, regulatory requirements, and resource utilization management.
