About The Position
Colonial Farm Credit is an agricultural credit cooperation that provides loans for farms, country homes, land purchases, home construction, improvements, buildings, machinery, livestock, equipment, production capital for both full-time and part-time farmers, and ag-related businesses. We have an excellent employment opportunity for a Loan Assistant in our Farmville office. Under the general direction of the Loan Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for loan and accounting functions related to loan processing, servicing, and post-closing following procedures specific to Farm Credit, as well as a variety of administrative responsibilities including answering telephone, greeting customers when they arrive, handling routine questions, and appropriately directing callers to other employees or resources as needed. This position works closely with the Loan Specialist Team and Relationship Managers (Loan Officers).
