About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) will provide leadership to the accounting team and oversee all aspects of financial planning, including accounting functions, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, budget management, cash flow planning, compliance, and financial relationships. The CFO will work closely with the President and CEO and will be responsible for the overall financial management of the organization, ensuring alignment with the company's core values and culture.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in the real estate industry.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role as a financial professional in a multi-faceted organization.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience providing leadership and oversight to others.
• M&A experience and post-acquisition integration.
• Extensive experience raising significant capital.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

• Public accounting experience and/or CPA licensure is a plus.
• Demonstrated community involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the accounting team.
• Oversee all aspects of financial planning including accounting functions, financial analysis & reporting, forecasting, budget management, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain financial relationships with partners and investors.
• Lead M&A initiatives, including developing lending relationships and sourcing debt.
• Ensure successful post-acquisition integration and establish KPIs for effective decision-making.
• Contribute to the strategic oversight and vision for the company's future.
