About The Position

CenterPointe Hospital is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior leadership team. The CFO will play a crucial role in the financial and functional decision-making processes necessary for achieving the facility’s operational and financial goals. Located in St. Charles, Missouri, the hospital serves adolescents, adults, and seniors with behavioral health concerns, offering a full continuum of care across its 150 beds and serene 20-acre campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related field with a major in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful CFO experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous behavioral healthcare experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with a proprietary healthcare system highly preferred.
  • CPA or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven financial analysis skills.
  • Experience with information technology and proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in behavioral healthcare.
  • Experience with proprietary healthcare systems.
  • CPA certification.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly in compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare corporate required reports including Monthly Operating Report and Forecasts accurately and on time.
  • Implement accounting and business office policies to facilitate a clean audit.
  • Direct Revenue Cycle operations to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and managed care reimbursement methodologies.
  • Supervise Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Purchasing contracts and monitor supply costs.
  • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets and participate in strategic planning.
