About The Position

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in a behavioral health, acute care, or managed care environment.
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree required.
  • Prior CEO or senior executive leadership experience in a behavioral health hospital strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading Joint Commission (JACHO) surveys and accreditation processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and business development.
  • Proven success in talent recruitment, retention, and leadership development.
  • Strong background in marketing strategy and community engagement initiatives.
  • Experience overseeing quality improvement programs in a behavioral health hospital setting.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Clinical Services, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a senior leadership or CEO role within a behavioral health, acute care, or managed care environment, or successful completion of a recognized CEO training program.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead licensure, accreditation, and regulatory compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility.
  • Thorough knowledge of hospital administration and clinical operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial management principles and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and executive communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate within established organizational policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in English sufficient to communicate effectively and provide direction.

  • MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Equivalent experience and/or licensure may be considered in lieu of degree (subject to executive review and approval).
