To provide effective cost controls within the department. Ensure aggressive guest first approach among team members and provide a friendly guest contact experience. Maintain a professional and ethical image for the Maintenance Department. Lead the Safety and Security effort at the property. Provide needed input in development of and provide supervision of capital projects.

Requirements

Chief Engineer experience in a hotel preferred or Chief Engineer of a commercial building including specific experience in preventative maintenance program
Journey person experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trade
Knowledge and experience in budgeting and expense control.
Strong interpersonal/leadership skills, professional caring approach towards employees.
"Do it now" approach.
