Our NJ Region is looking for a Chief Engineer - QA/QC who embodies this purpose. This individual could be located in any of our 3 NJ offices (Warren, Red Bank or Ridgewood).

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• 15+ years of experience in site/civil design
• Proficient with New Jersey land development procedures, regulations, and codes
• A passion for, and experience with, site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring others
• Attention to detail
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects
• Oversee Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design and construction process
• Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processes
• Complete Quality Checklists for design
• Review site/civil design plans and calculations throughout the project life cycle
• Ensure detailing consistency
• Conduct constructability reviews
• Assess, improve, and maintain QA/QC procedures
• Provide recommendations on individual projects to mitigate risk for clients throughout design and construction
• Assist design team in support of construction administration services for design projects
• Be a resource for project teams, answer questions, provide one-on-one training and oversight when needed for staff
• Comply with all policies and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
