About The Position
The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the engineering operations within the Maritime division. This role ensures that engineering projects are completed to meet or exceed technical requirements while operating within specified budgets and schedules. The Chief Engineer plays a critical role in developing innovative engineering strategies aligned with the Maritime vision. Along with program execution, this includes establishing and managing Research and Development investment roadmaps that enable the implementation of the Maritime strategy. The Chief Engineer will report to the Vice President of Engineering, and will interface regularly with the Sparton CEO, as well as other senior and executive leadership within the company. This position requires a broad technical knowledge required to lead multiple teams across several programs.
