The Hot Gas Path Module Chief Engineer is an expert senior technical leader and subject matter expert, responsible for setting strategic direction, shaping organizational technical vision, and driving innovation across the Gas Power Engineering enterprise. This role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, supporting the most complex projects, and mentoring next generation of engineers. The Chief Engineer collaborates across the multi-disciplinary Engineering teams to own & lead risk management while fostering innovative solutions to meet business and customer solutions. The Chief Engineer for Hot Gas Path will partner with the Gas Turbine Engineering team to develop world class, robust and reliable Turbine Systems. This position will evaluate the Overall performance, operability and life of the Hot Gas Path system. This position will work with various stakeholders across Gas Power including other Chief Engineers, Heavy Duty Plant Engineering, Gas Power Systems Engineering, Component Design teams, Customer Service Engineering teams, Quality, and Product Line Management to identify, communicate, contain, correct, and retire risks across the fleet of products, as well as drive proactive improvements into both GE Vernova products and processes.
