GDMS has an immediate opening for the AI Applications Chief Engineer. Our team works closely with our DoD customers, Government laboratories, and industry partners to develop, deploy, and sustain military systems in defense of our nation, allies, and partners. The selected candidate will lead definition of AI-enabled technical strategies and solutions within our Maritime and Strategic Systems line of business. The mission demands we deliver advanced capabilities for our warfighters through high-reliability, affordable, cyber-resilient systems. As the AI Applications Chief Engineer, you will lead development of technology roadmaps and work closely with our business development organization to understand customer needs and present conceptual solutions aligned with GDMS capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the identification and cultivation of innovative AI initiatives, educating business and technical stakeholders about what AI can and cannot do, and working with senior engineering management to chart the course for growing our AI capabilities and workforce.
