This 27-acre medical campus at 19339 Benns Grant Boulevard, Smithfield will feature a three-story, 200,000-square-foot hospital and a 25,000-square-foot Medical Office Building, offering comprehensive medical and surgical services in a beautifully landscaped, modern environment.

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
