About The Position

The Chief Communication Officer oversees, manages and/or produces external and internal communication efforts (emergency and non-emergency) that supports the institution's mission, vision, and values, promoting ministry brand and positive reputation. Public Information Acts as media spokesperson and liaison, strategizing and/or producing press releases, responding to requests for information from media outlets; includes accompanying media personnel on campus. Supports advertising social media team in response to direct messages, comments, and posts. Helps executive administration create positive public image by writing speeches and/or other specialty administrative communication efforts as needed. Emergency Management and Crisis Communication Produces and delivers the right message, to the right people, at the right time during emergency situations by collaborating with necessary departments and media outlets. External Communications Ensure preferred communication style (in alignment with brand voice and administrative preferences) across all channels, including supporting effective social media presence. Collaborate with executive administration and the advertising team, acting as a liaison to align and integrate the right messaging. Internal Communications Supports and/or produces internal student and staff communications, ensuring content quality and effective strategy. Collaborate with executive administration and the advertising team, acting as a liaison to align and integrate the right messaging.
