About The Position

Our client is a rapidly growing local company within the FMCG sector. They are looking for an experienced CCO to drive business growth through strategic brand expansion. The Chief Commercial Officer will join the company at a crucial time in the company's growth-phase, and has an exceptionally exciting period ahead. The role pays around the €100K-mark, with some flexibility + benefits as listed below.

Requirements

University educated, ideally in business management or commerce
Local (Maltese) experience of 3+ years within the FMCG / food retail industry in a senior commercial role - non-negotiable
Strong track record of scaling a business and driving profitability
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Strong expertise in sales, marketing, and franchise management
Excellent negotiation skills
Engaging leader with proven track record of mentoring and building strong teams

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak Maltese could be advantageous (not essential)

Responsibilities

Develop strategy for business growth together with CEO
Implement incentives driving revenue and market-share expansion
Ensure best-in-market brand recognition through visibility, and excellent service and product offerings
Set pricing and sales strategies for maximum profitability
Optimise performance of outlets with the use of advanced BI techniques
Drive digital transformation through data-driven marketing initiatives i.e. loyalty app and promos
Establish and track KPIs for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and franchise compliance
Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture
