About The Position
Join the City of Largo as a Chief Code Officer, where you'll lead meaningful work in the field, ensuring compliance with City Ordinances and the Comprehensive Development Code. This role plays a vital part in maintaining community standards by investigating resident complaints, identifying violations, and working toward effective resolution. Responsible technical work related to the investigation of complaints and requests from community members, determination if/when violations exist, and enforcement and compliance with the City's Ordinances and Comprehensive Development Code when required. Work is performed independently in the field and within the City of Largo community. Participation in Code Enforcement Board and Special Magistrate meetings will be required. Position reports to the Community Standards Manager.
