About The Position

The Chief Building Inspector for the City of Milford is responsible for overseeing the inspection of buildings to ensure compliance with safety and construction standards. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience as a licensed building official, contractor, architect, or professional engineer.
• Possession of a valid State of Connecticut building official license.
• Possession of a valid State of Connecticut motor vehicle driver's license.
