The Chief Architect is a leadership role responsible for laying out the vision for the next-generation architecture and engineering capabilities for Deluxe’s products & platforms. The individual will lead Enterprise Architecture practice at Deluxe with a strong focus on establishing Integrated Payments Platforms and help in the technology evolution of Deluxe Payments business. This role will lead a team of architects, mentor technical leads and collaborate with other delivery and engineering leaders to build a vibrant product delivery organization. Responsible to set the technical architectural direction, technology best practices, long-term technology vision, and guiding principles for product development. Serve as the Architecture leader for the business in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Business leadership. Frame technical or architectural alternatives in business terms, clearly articulating both business and technical implications of various options. Responsible for defining and establishing Integrated Payment Platform Blueprint, guide in establishing the next-generation technology ecosystem to support Payment Business growth. Lead and manage a team of architects, who provide architectural stewardship for the software products delivered by the business. Recruit, coach, develop and manage a software architecture team. Champion sound architectural solutions and effectively advocate for them at Product Delivery & Executive level. Champion technology- and architecture-related investments, advocate for the priority of this work with Product, Business, and Engineering counterparts. Align with the Enterprise architecture teams. Partner with rest of the Product Delivery organization in delivering scalable, resilient and interopable solutions that can easily integrate with Partners & Customer ecosystem. Support organization on continuous improvement, Agility, efficient & effective product delivery.
