About The Position

This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position. Target salary range: $180k-$260k . The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. JANUS Research Group is seeking a Chief Architect at Los Angeles AFB to support the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Lead Integration, Test, and Evaluation with 24/7 Operational Support (FLITE+) program. This role supports system design, engineering and integration, engineering services, information technology professional services, and continuous operational support, all focused on advancing methods that increase the speed and reliability with which the Government delivers software and hardware to operational environments.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelors degree in science or engineering with 17 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience supporting Missile Warning systems, architectures, and integration efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide senior technical leadership and strategic architectural guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform the role of Chief Architect for Missile Warning Integration and Test.
• Provide expert insight into the current state and future direction of the FORGE architecture.
• Deliver strategic recommendations for Missile Warning system improvements, optimization, and sustainment.
• Advise leadership on architectural risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities affecting Missile Warning capabilities.
• Maintain thorough familiarity with associated technologies and technical programs that interface with Missile Warning systems.
