About The Position

Acts as the technical expert in matters pertaining to aircraft engineering and related subjects; oversees the creation of aircraft configuration control and maintenance data within the aircraft engineering department.
Essential Functions
Establishes effective communication, ensuring daily pre-shift meetings, leading employees in skill development, maintaining a safe working environment, and monitoring production and efficiency measurements.
Manages physical assets, reviewing financial statements, and working with sales to align operations and meet customer needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
• Eight (8) years of directly related experience in aircraft engineering, include at least five (5) years in commercial aircraft engineering.
• Must have working knowledge of FAR parts 25, 43, and 121 and other sections as applicable.
• Strong human relations, communications, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive Fleet Engineering Interiors experience preferred.
• Candidates should have demonstrated experience leading projects/ engineers, developing processes/ policies, industry/ management interface, and problem solving.
