The Chief Advisor – Datacenter Sales (AI) at WWT is a senior, customer-facing sales and technical leader responsible for driving enterprise data center modernization and AI-enabled solutions for our largest and most strategic customers. This role blends deep datacenter and infrastructure sales expertise with AI strategy, advisory, and solution leadership, helping customers evolve from traditional infrastructure to modern, AI-ready platforms. As a trusted advisor, this role aligns WWT’s datacenter, cloud, and AI products, solutions, and services to customer business outcomes, while collaborating across sales, engineering, solution architecture, and professional services. The Chief Advisor plays a critical role in accelerating customer adoption of advanced compute, data, and AI solutions and contributes directly to WWT’s profitable growth strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, datacenter solutions, infrastructure modernization, or related domains.
  • Proven success selling and advising on complex datacenter and strategic enterprise initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of datacenter architectures, cloud/hybrid environments, and AI infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience engaging C-level executives and senior technical leaders in strategic technology discussions.
  • Ability to translate emerging technologies (AI, automation, advanced compute) into business value for customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership across matrixed sales, solutions, engineering, and partner teams.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise customers, guiding datacenter modernization, AI readiness, and infrastructure transformation strategies.
  • Partner with customer executives and technical leaders to define business-aligned technology roadmaps, including AI workloads, high-performance computing (HPC), and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Lead executive-level discussions on the convergence of datacenter, cloud, and AI technologies and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Expand WWT’s relevance within customer accounts by aligning technology strategies to core business objectives and long-term growth initiatives
  • Drive sales and solution strategy for datacenter infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and AI-ready platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable datacenter and AI architectures, including data pipelines, accelerators (GPU), and modern workload platforms.
  • Shape and qualify complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise opportunities involving datacenter transformation, AI infrastructure, and cloud integration.
  • Support proof-of-concepts, workshops, and value demonstrations to showcase AI-enabled datacenter solutions.
  • Own and drive profitable revenue growth across datacenter products and services within assigned enterprise accounts or geographic regions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account and opportunity strategies from idea to outcome, in partnership with core account teams.
  • Lead selling motions for enterprise-scale initiatives, coordinating across OEM partners, internal specialists, and delivery teams.
  • Determine and align the optimal coverage and engagement model across WWT sales, services, and partner organizations.
  • Act as a bridge across sales, engineering, solutions, and professional services to ensure successful opportunity development and delivery.
  • Serve as an internal thought leader, enabling teams on datacenter, AI infrastructure trends, competitive positioning, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM and technology partners (e.g., compute, storage, networking, cloud, and AI ecosystem providers).
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies, executive briefings, and customer-facing thought leadership related to datacenter and AI innovation.
