The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. We are looking for Chicago Machine Operators to join our fabrication team on 3rd shift. This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC facility.

Requirements

  • Prior experience/knowledge in CNC Brake Press
  • Experience with changing turret dies per set up sheet to complete specific orders
  • Must be able to read 2D & 3D blueprints, apply basic shop math, digital literacy, and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Work standing for the duration of a shift
  • Stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb
  • Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50lbs, and push/pull/slide material
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Brake machine
  • Brake press setup to form steel, aluminum, and copper per blueprint specs
  • Working well on a team
  • Work directly with or under the direction of a Group Lead and/or Supervisor
  • Read blueprints and spot welds steel and galvanized parts
  • Work with ISO/work standards
  • Complete confirmation documentation via SAP data management system or DMM
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure functioning and safe working conditions and wears appropriate PPE
  • Access and utilize various documents, with the use of computers, associated with the manufacture of products in assembly for completion of confirmations (e.g. Quality and Safety Documents, Operating Instructions, etc.)
