About The Position
Desire Home Care, Inc. is seeking a certified and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team . The individual in this position will provide quality in-home care to our clients in Riverside. As a CHHA at Desire Home Care, Inc., you will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support to our clients. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. Compensation: $25-$30 per hour Benefits: Daily pay: Access your earned wages the same day you work! Requirements
- Must be a certified CHHA in the state of California
- Prior experience in home health care or a similar setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have current BLS certificate
- Physical and TB clearance valid within the year
- Ability to complete documentation via agency EMR system
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisor
- Follow the care plan outlined by the client's healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Attend training and education programs to maintain and enhance CHHA certification
