Affirmed Homecare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide dedicated in-home care for an elderly client. This is a per diem opportunity for Sundays, ideal for caregivers looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey CHHA certification
- Prior experience working with dementia or memory care patients required
- Patient, compassionate, and attentive demeanor
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, one-on-one care in a private home setting
- Support client with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Follow individualized care plans and clinical guidance
