About The Position

This position involves facilitating the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise to be shipped to the PETCO stores by receiving, moving, and stocking warehouse goods. The job is composed of several routine tasks that are repeated throughout the day and is considered a safety-sensitive position requiring drug testing.

Requirements

• Ability to operate forklift equipment.
• Ability to lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with hand-held computers for scanning bar codes.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks.
• Repetitively lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Use hand-held computer to scan merchandise bar codes.
• Operate computerized pick-module.
• Facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of merchandise for shipment.
