About The Position

NSG Group/Pilkington North America: Since becoming part of the Nippon Sheet Glass Group (NSG) in June of 2006, NSG Group is one of the world's largest glassmakers, that manufactures and distributes automotive and flat glass for the automotive and building industries. Position: (Safety Sensitive Job) Cherry Picker Operator As a Cherry Picker operator, associates are responsible for picking or replenishment of automotive glass such as windshields and meeting picking/replenishment expectations.

Requirements

• 1-year RECENT Cherry Picker experience
• Utilizing basic hand tools
• Excellent attendance will be REQUIRED!
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
• Must have attention to detail
• Without assistance, must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing 35-45 pounds on average and up to 70 pounds on a frequent/daily basis.
• Must be willing to operate order picker and obtain and maintain appropriate certifications.
• Able to work at heights of up to 30 feet.
• Ability to meet a satisfactory level of Units Per Hour.
• Able to work both independently and as a team member.
• Able to work extended shift hours based on business need.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of departmental safety, quality and operational procedures.
• RF/RDT scanners/order menu experience.
