About You: Perform sample analysis using AA, FTIR and ultra violet-visible spectrophotometer. Extract and prepare samples for instrumental analysis. Log chemical supplies into the department and track expired chemicals / reagents Handle reagents, solvents, standards, and related certificates of analysis. Maintain chemistry sample shelf. Perform sample calculations and write up in laboratory notebook and report results. Perform U.S.P. identification and assay test. Conduct tests using pH and conductivity meter, TOC analyzer, refractometer, polarimeter, and other similar instruments. Learn other test procedures as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Problem solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • High School diploma or Associate’s degree, and 1 or more years of experience in analytical chemistry is preferreed.
  • Company requires a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
  • All positions require dedicated team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with analytical instruments, MS Office and LIMS software is preferred but not required.
