What You’ll Do As a Chemistry Lab Technician, you will: Work with a diverse suite of analytical and metallurgical instruments, including: - Optical Emission Spectrometers - Navy Train - Leco RC-612 - Leco CS-744 & CS-200 - Leco ON-736 - Humidity Chamber - Melt Button - Hardness Tester (HRC) - Microhardness Tester - Metallography equipment: abrasive saw, polisher, mounting press You’ll operate, calibrate, maintain, and repair these systems and follow all applicable cleaning procedures. Support Lab Operations - Track inventory of consumables. - Monitor turnaround times using the TrackVia program. - Transport samples using a transit van when needed.
