Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree program in chemistry, biology, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated excellence in math, physics, chemistry and biology.
  • Laboratory skills in chemistry, biology, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated programming proficiencies
  • Sustained excellence in academic performance

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated interest in serving the public
  • Strong understanding of mathematical methods for data analysis
  • Prior experience synthesizing organizing and reporting complex data topics
  • Ability to work both independently and in a group setting

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate current state of the art standoff sensing technologies
  • Work with drone range operators to identify environmental risks and mitigations for testing advanced standoff sensing capabilities
  • Support the development of a research test plan to incorporate sensing technologies with autonomous platform
