HORIBA is seeking a Chemistry grad with Lab experience to join our team in Canton, MI. The right candidate will be able to perform the following essential job functions and has the listed qualifications:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Chemistry, equivalent field, or previous job experience in a manufacturing position
  • Laboratory experience, including maintaining equipment
  • Ability to follow and understand written protocols
  • Good reading and math skills
  • Organized, good communication and computer skills
  • Flexible and able to multi-task; demonstrates resourcefulness and ability to set priorities within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding and performing all aspects of Liquid or Powder reagent formulations
  • Operate and maintain all formulation equipment including scales, mixers, and grinders
  • Assist in maintaining correct inventories, including the appropriate disposal of product waste
  • Prepare required documentation accurately, including understanding and following written protocols
  • Willingness to cross-train and learn new roles
