HORIBA is seeking a Chemistry grad with Lab experience to join our team in Canton, MI. The right candidate will be able to perform the following essential job functions and has the listed qualifications:

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Chemistry, equivalent field, or previous job experience in a manufacturing position
Laboratory experience, including maintaining equipment
Ability to follow and understand written protocols
Good reading and math skills
Organized, good communication and computer skills
Flexible and able to multi-task; demonstrates resourcefulness and ability to set priorities within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for understanding and performing all aspects of Liquid or Powder reagent formulations
Operate and maintain all formulation equipment including scales, mixers, and grinders
Assist in maintaining correct inventories, including the appropriate disposal of product waste
Prepare required documentation accurately, including understanding and following written protocols
Willingness to cross-train and learn new roles
