About The Position

The Chemistries and Supplies Inside Sales Representative supports columns, sample prep, and instrument consumables products and workflows for chromatography and spectroscopy systems to a wide variety of markets and customers. As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for selling company products/systems and services to end-user customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts, primarily through outbound and inbound telephone, email, and virtual meeting sales activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent in STEM field (chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical science, etc)
• Chromatography and/or spectroscopy knowledge and/or experience strongly desired.
• Laboratory experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Acts as part of a sales team and supports Field Sales staff.
• Routinely acts as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, and products.
• Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
• Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
• Responsible for closing the sale on systems and products or may generate leads for Field Sales staff.
• Carries team and/or individual quota.
• Handles complex leads, qualified and nurtures the leads to potential business opportunities.
• Utilizes sales experience to develop and execute a territory management plan.
• Works on inside sales assignments with broadly defined objectives.
• Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization.
