Job Scope: Ensure that laboratory areas remain in compliance with applicable regulations, policies, pharmacopeias, and corporate quality procedures. Review analytical results and complete the holistic evaluation of batches analyzed in the laboratory. Generate and/or review laboratory documents including, but not limited to, laboratory data, procedures, qualification protocols, or any document related to laboratory analysis. Provide analytical and technical support for QC Laboratory. Demonstrated strong knowledge in problem solving, troubleshooting, method validation/transfer and equipment qualification. Strong leadership skills, customer focus and continuous improvement oriented. Computer literate, teamwork oriented, strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other parts of the organization and across multiple levels. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Flexibility is required to provide technical support to a 24-hour process operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in the scientific discipline of Chemistry
• Chemist license required
• Handling of Explosives
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge in problem solving, troubleshooting, method validation/transfer and equipment qualification.
• Strong leadership skills, customer focus and continuous improvement oriented.
• Computer literate, teamwork oriented, strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other parts of the organization and across multiple levels.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility is required to provide technical support to a 24-hour process operation.
