 Position overviewAre you a student looking for internship in a globally leading industrial company? We are looking for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team. The Chemist Laboratory Intern will be a part of our team, working to provide assistance and support in the day-to-day tasks as well as gain an insight and understanding of the full cycle laboratory test, experiment and development, and analysis process.

Project Duration: Up to 12 weeks (between late May – mid August).
Hours/Week: Up to 40 hours.
Salary range: $20 - $24 /hour based on experience and academic year.

Requirements

• Experience in lab environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work in teams comprised of production and maintenance personnel.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh & evaluate formulas per instructions.
• Set up experiments and tests following detailed instructions and procedures.
• Back-up current lab technician in running routine analysis.
• Enter critical data into spreadsheets & database.
• Analyze data for accuracy.
• Prepare, complete, update and maintain all reports, records and documentation as assigned.
• Assist in the development of various analytical methods for the lab.
• Learn & follow all safety protocols.
