Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, ME, EE or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in nanofabrication, process optimization, patterning, lithography, nanoimprint, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on materials and process tests. Hands-on material and process optimization on relevant tools.
  • Conduct feasibility testing of new materials/chemicals. Assist in the process/tool development and troubleshooting. Validate new chemicals/materials and transfer the knowledge to process and tool building teams.
  • Technical management of supplier and academic collaborations on new chemical compounds used in Applied's field of business.
  • File relevant patent applications.
