Reporting to the R&D Manager, the Chemist III, R&D is responsible for: Design, conduct, and interpret electrochemical experiments to analyze chemical samples and develop new analytical methods. Research, design and develop ion selective electrodes for detecting analyte(s) in water. Fabricate and characterize electrodes to ensure high performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, operations and quality teams to achieve project goals. Document experimental procedures, results, and findings in technical reports. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electroanalytical chemistry and ion selective electrode. This position is part of the R&D Chemistry team located in Loveland, Colorado, and will be on-site.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in electroanalytical chemistry, ion selective electrodes, or electrochemistry.
  • Hands-on expertise in electrode fabrication and characterization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of designing and synthesizing novel ionophores.
  • Knowledge of materials science.
  • Knowledge of polymer science.
