As a Chemist I at Honeywell's Bryan, Texas facility, you will utilize your chemistry knowledge and critical thinking skills in a clean room environment. Your role will involve conducting analyses using advanced instrumentation to ensure quality specifications are met while adhering to safety protocols. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the success of various projects and programs.

  • Perform chemistry tests using Wet Lab techniques
  • Run chemical analyses using advanced instrumentation
  • Aid in the development of manufacturing procedures as needed
  • Develop and validate quality control test methodologies using Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • Provide technical expertise in analytical chemistry and instrument operation and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment as necessary
  • Provide high-quality and timely analysis while adhering to all HSE protocols
  • Escalate critical, time-sensitive information
  • Generate continuous improvement ideas
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science degree
  • 1—2 years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a clean room laboratory
  • Works under minimal supervision
  • ICP-OES, ICP-MS, IC, LPC, UV-Vis experience
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry
  • Environmental laboratory testing
  • Data Management/LIMS experience
  • SOP revision and generation experience
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
