The R&D Chemist is a key member of the company’s Research and Development Team at THG Beauty. As a Chemist, you'll review new Product development requests (PDR’s) and collaborate with SE’s for additional clarification, assigning tentative project completion dates. You will develop new formulations utilizing in-depth knowledge of chemical ingredients and processes that meet the desired technical and aesthetic attributes specified by customers on PDR. Your responsibilities will include preparing lab batches of formulas needed for submitting samples for customer analysis, maintaining detailed and organized lab notebooks, and developing detailed lab scale processes for success. You will also provide technical support to SE and customers, work closely with lab technicians, perform stability monitoring, and communicate all information regarding formulation and project status to appropriate individuals. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe lab working area.
