This entry-level, non-laboratory position involves working with vendors to gather chemical information and learn global chemical regulations for a wide range of materials. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new computer software
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Input information from vendor safety data sheets into a hazard communication database
- Review global chemical regulations and determine their application for various products
- Search for SDS sheets of raw materials
- Fill in missing or incorrect information in the SDS sheets
- Contact vendors as needed
