Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Reliable work history with excellent attendance.
  • Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where temperatures fluctuate with the seasons—summers can exceed 100°F, and winters can be near freezing.
  • Uniforms, safety glasses, gloves, shoes, and other protective gear provided.
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach, and twist for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift 15-55 lbs.; occasionally lift 100+ lbs.
  • Roll drums weighing 100-350 lbs., some exceeding 400 lbs.
  • Pass vision and color/sight tests to ensure precision.
  • Exhibit excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Operate plant equipment—including filters, dryers, pulverizers, pumps, reactors, and blenders—to manufacture high-quality chemical products.
  • Follow precise batch processing procedures to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Measure and stage raw materials using scales and specialized instruments.
  • Monitor instruments and indicators to maintain optimal process conditions.
  • Make real-time adjustments to equipment for peak efficiency.
  • Perform in-plant testing to verify product quality.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Safely add chemicals to reactors in controlled quantities.
  • Operate forklifts and adhere to all written and verbal instructions.
  • Commit to safety, environmental responsibility, and security compliance, including adherence to the Responsible Care® Management System.
