The Chemical Production Technician I is responsible for manufacturing production batches of media following Phenomenex SOPs, company policies and other guidelines. This position reports to the Sr. Production Manager, Media Manufacturing and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations located in Torrance, CA and will be an on-site role. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree or training in Chemistry or other technical field
- Experience with chemical handling
Responsibilities
- Carries out processing steps in a batch manufacturing environment by operating production equipment and using sound judgement as needed. This may include assisting with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.
- Weighs, measures and adds raw materials to ensure batches contain correct materials and quantities.
- Maintain records and work area to comply with SOP’s, company policies, cGMP and ISO 9001 requirements.
