Some of the key functions include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Technician experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to read and performs manufacturing work instructions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintains a strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing all aspects of the job
  • Solid troubleshooting and decision-making skills
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Team work skills

Nice To Haves

  • Fork Truck Certification desired
  • HAZMAT training (Hazwoper, etc) or experience desirable, but not required
  • Computer skills such as SAP knowledge and Microsoft Office a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performs work in accordance with the production schedule provided by inventory planning.
  • Informs supervisors of any significant problems, issues or concerns.
  • Completes production records and inventory transactions.
  • Updates process documentation (batch sheets) as work processes are completed.
  • Updates raw material inventory using computer software (SAP).
  • Follows established production procedures and instructions.
  • Follows quality and safety standards.
  • Meets production deadlines.
  • Cleans, secures, and maintains work areas.
  • Performs shipping and receiving functions in the South Plant
