About The Position
As our Chemical Production Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing, packaging, and labelling various chemical products. Specifically, this will include: Reviewing batch sheets and instructions; Weighing and staging chemicals; Preparing chemicals for manufacturing and initiating the manufacturing process; Continually observing and monitoring reactions according to written procedures; Controlling reactions, adjusting equipment or making additions as necessary for desired outcome, and documenting actions taken; Performing quality control tests and making adjustments as needed; Filling totes or other required packaging; Labelling products as required; and, Other duties as needed.
Requirements
- verifiable high school diploma or GED
- solid math skills
- the ability to periodically lift 55 lbs
- the ability to wear a respirator

- Experience working with chemicals
- driving a sit-down forklift
