Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs chemical processing operations (e.g., cleaning, etching, anodizing, passivation, conversion coating, plating preparation, and rinsing) in accordance with approved process specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements. Prepares, monitors, and maintains chemical baths and solutions by measuring concentrations, temperatures, pH levels, and immersion times to ensure process control and part quality. Loads, unloads, and handles parts safely using proper fixturing, racks, and handling methods to prevent damage or contamination. Inspects processed parts visually and, when required, uses measurement or test methods to verify conformance to specifications. Accurately completes production, inspection, and process documentation, including logs, travelers, batch records, and nonconformance reports. Follows all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and hazard communication requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Properly labels, stores, handles, and disposes of chemicals and waste materials in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Identifies and reports process deviations, equipment malfunctions, chemical out-of-spec conditions, or safety concerns to supervision or quality personnel immediately. Performs routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of tanks, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe and effective operations. Maintains a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards. Supports audits, inspections, and customer requirements by adhering to documented procedures and maintaining accurate records. Collaborates with quality, engineering, and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate. Performs other duties as assigned.
