About The Position

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering or related Science degree
• 4 years of relevant experience required, must be in supervisory capacity
• Knowledge of structure property relationships of microencapsulation formulation ingredients and process
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational, communication and computer skills
• Strong understanding of systems
• Fluency in English required

Nice To Haves

• 4-year technical degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering or related Science degree
• Experience in a chemical processing company

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily/weekly manufacturing schedule
• Manage hourly workforce by enforcing safety and quality procedures, and maintaining daily production standards
• Maintain proper inventory and interface with suppliers
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Create and maintain the department's SOPs
• Collect and report technical process data to the R&D team
• Interface with various departments, suppliers, and customers in a professional manner
• Read work orders to determine production specifications and information
• Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and manage purchase orders
• Maintain a hands-on approach to managing the team and training
• Actively engage in daily operations
• Perform all other duties as assigned
